Headlining a lineup of incredible talent from across North Wales and the Northwest, Masters of the Scene bring their internationally acclaimed ABBA tribute show to Rhuddfest! With a full live band and stunning attention to detail, they’ve captivated audiences across the UK and beyond, delivering the ultimate ABBA experience with pitch-perfect harmonies, dazzling costumes, and unbeatable energy.

Their performance will follow an electrifying crescendo—30 samba drummers raising the energy before a breathtaking pyrotechnic parachute display fills the sky. Then, as the atmosphere reaches its peak, Masters of the Scene will take the stage, bringing you hit after hit, from Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia to Waterloo and Super Trouper.

Get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate as Rhuddfest 2025 closes in true disco style. Dust off your flares, grab your friends, and let’s make it a night to remember!

Batala bangor

Batala Bangor – The Thunder of Samba at Rhuddfest

Bringing the electrifying beats of Brazil to North Wales, Batala Bangor is a powerhouse samba-reggae drumming band that guarantees to get pulses racing. Part of the global Batala movement, they combine deep, rolling basslines with sharp, syncopated rhythms to create an unforgettable wall of sound.

Known for their high-energy performances and hypnotic grooves, Batala Bangor will be setting the stage alight at Rhuddfest, leading straight into a breathtaking pyrotechnic parachute display. Expect a full-force crescendo of rhythm, passion, and raw power—this is drumming like you’ve never felt before.

Hunzz

A contemporary 4 piece jazz-funk sensation hailing from North Wales & Liverpool. This eclectic band has been captivating audiences since their formation in late 2022, and their journey has been nothing short of remarkable. 

Following the success of their debut single "Honey" which earned them a dedicated fan base, Hunzz continues to push the boundaries of their music.

 

Hunzz comprises a tight-knit ensemble of talented musicians who complement each other perfectly. Rosie Hamilton's soulful lead vocals and guitar skills are at the forefront, setting the stage for an electrifying musical experience. Samuel Roberts, with his backing vocals and bass, provides the rhythmic foundation that keeps your feet tapping. Owen Rhys Jones' keyboard melodies add layers of depth, and Ciaran Fletcher's drumming adds a punch that propels the band forward.

Bau Cat

Bau Cat are Abby Butler on Bass, Jim Davies on guitar and Jack Wells on drums forming in North Wales in 2023, the trio have developed a reputation for producing great songs that’ll leave an Indie retro rootsy taste in your mouth.

Rain Dodgers – High-Energy Bluegrass with a Twist

Hailing from Caernarfon, Rain Dodgers are a four-piece bluegrass band with a sound that’s anything but ordinary. Blending blues, country, rockabilly, and rock & roll, they take the raw energy of traditional bluegrass and infuse it with their own unique style.

With driving rhythms, tight harmonies, and infectious energy, Rain Dodgers deliver a foot-stomping set that keeps audiences hooked from start to finish. An acoustic folk duo who create innovative original music intertwined with traditional folk songs. Formed in 2019, the two core members of the band, NatalieGrace and Steve, have brought their love for traditional folk music and poured in ideas from their eclectic musical backgrounds to create an innovative sound that will tickle the tastebuds of music maestros and casual listeners alike as they walk the line between virtuoso skill and crowd-pleasing tunes.
Influences from classical, jazz, heavy rock and metal meet with traditional music from North West Europe, North America, South Africa and more.

Rhuddfest Welcomes The Sirenz – Glan Clwyd’s Own Band!

This year, we’re doing something special at Rhuddfest by welcoming The Sirenz—a band made up of staff from Glan Clwyd Hospital! These incredible people spend their days (and nights) caring for others, and now they’re swapping the wards for the stage to bring us a set packed with energy, passion, and plenty of singalong moments.

After everything the NHS staff do for us, it’s an honour to have them be part of the festival. The Sirenz represent exactly what Rhuddfest is about—community, connection, and coming together to celebrate.

Make sure you’re there to cheer them on and show your support for the real rockstars of Glan Clwyd!

Los Amotinados – Foot-Stomping Folk & Sea Shanties from North Wales

Bringing the spirit of the sea and the soul of folk music to Rhuddfest, Los Amotinados are a North Wales-based band keeping the tradition of sea shanties alive. With rich harmonies, driving rhythms, and a mix of bass, acoustic guitar, cajón, and fiddle, they deliver rousing performances that transport you straight to the decks of a stormy voyage or a lively tavern.

Whether it’s a haunting ballad or a rowdy singalong, Los Amotinados promise a set full of passion, history, and energy. Get ready to raise your voices, tap your feet, and lose yourself in the timeless tales of the sea!

Electric Sunroof

Electric Sunroof – North Wales’ Noughties Rockers Return

Once a staple of the North Wales rock scene, Electric Sunroof made their mark with raw energy, big riffs, and a no-nonsense approach to live music. After a hiatus, they roared back into action in 2019 with their original lineup and a setlist forged from years of tested material.


With a history of memorable gigs—including an infamous £40 soundcheck tip from two overenthusiastic punters at Conwy Food Festival—Electric Sunroof are back to do what they do best. Expect high-energy rock, plenty of attitude, and a welcome return for one of North Wales' finest underground acts.
