Substance PolicyRhuddfest has a zero-tolerance drug policy, drug dogs may be in operation at the event and any contraband substances will be confiscated. Rhuddfest also reserve the right to eject anyone from the site who is under the influence of drugs should they deem it necessary. Rhuddfest is also an active member of the local pubwatch scheme.

Admission PolicyAll bags will be searched upon entry. No food or drink will be allowed on-site (unless required for medical reasons) with the exception of baby food – we have everything else covered on-site. Cosmetic products and vape liquids are allowed at the discretion of the security staff but only in small containers. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal drugs. No glass allowed. We reserve the right to prohibit any items or goods within our site, including, but not limited to: Weapons Ammunition Explosives Horns and Loudhailers Drums Fireworks, flares Legal highs Laughing gas canisters and dispensers Medication Alcohol, food and drinks, glass (in any form) and cans Large luggage Candles, lanterns Liquid Any other items that security may deem hazardous.

Entry & Ticket ScanningYour ticket will be checked and scanned on arrival. If you have purchased e-tickets please preload it before you arrive as internet speeds might be slow and to speed up entry. Tickets can only be scanned once. Once they are scanned you will be given a wristband which you can use for entry and re-entry. You may be asked to show proof of ID upon entry & for the purchase of alcohol. Please remember to bring a valid proof of ID with you. The only accepted forms of ID are valid and up-to-date passports, driving licenses, or home office-approved proof of age cards.

What age are children's tickets?Children 3 years old and under don't require a ticket. Children 15 years and under require a child ticket. Anyone 16 years and older require an adult ticket.

Accessibility FacilitiesThe event takes place on farmland, this is mostly level grass fields. There will be friendly stewards, accessible toilets. The arena is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.

If i leave can i come back in?E-tickets can only be scanned once. You will be given a wristband which will allow you to leave and re-enter the festival via back-checking.

Are Camping chairs & Gazebos allowed on site?We encourage you to bring a camping chair so you can relax and enjoy the festival. They will be checked for un-permitted items. Gazebo’s are not allowed.

What happens if it rains?We are hoping the sun will be out however there will be several large tented areas for you to take shelter in should we be unfortunate enough to have a little rain. However, please check the forecast prior to coming to Rhuddfest and bring suitable clothing.

Are there toilets onsite?Toilets are available in the festival arena and also in the camping area. Toilets will be well signposted.

Bag SearchesAll bags, including cooler boxes, camping chairs, and rolled up blankets, will be searched by SIA registered security for unpermitted and concealed items.

FOOD & DRINK into the festival?Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the festival. Food & drink is not allowed to be brought into the festival with the exception of baby formula/milk and baby snacks. Empty drink containers can be re-filled with free drinking water from the bar areas. There will be lots of different food vendors proving a variety of street food. There will be catering for all food types. Glass containers are not allowed on the festival grounds.

I bought a ticket for Rhuddfest 2020 can I still use it for this years event?Tickets that were bought for Rhuddfest 2020 can be exchanged for a like-for-like ticket for this years event. Please contact us at info@rhuddfest.co.uk for details on how to do this. No entry will be permitted on the day with 2020 tickets, an exchange must be done beforehand, to gain 2024 tickets. This cannot be done at the entry gate.

Do you allow dogsWell-behaved dogs are welcome to the festival and the camping area, but we ask that you keep them on a lead and clean up after them please. For further info see our Dog FAQ's

What time can we arrive and what time do we have to leave site by?Friday Check in is from 15:00 and Check out is by 10:00am on the Monday

Can we camp next to our friends?Camping spots will be allocated upon arrival. Pitches can't be reserved and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Does my Camping ticket include entry to the Rhuddfest festivalYes it does! Each person camping needs to purchase a Weekend Camping Ticket which will gain them access to the Festival.

Is the campsite family friendly.We will do our upmost to separate families and non-families in the camping area

Do you allow music at the camp site?Of course how ever due to our licence no music is allowed after 23:00

Are there recycling bins on site?We absolutely love Festival and take pride in keeping it clean and tidy. We kindly ask that you take all of your rubbish and recycling home with you and your pitches must be left completely clear. To make this as easy as possible, we recommend that you try and leave and unnecessary packaging at home. However there will be some recycling facilities around the site

What age do you have to be to make a booking.To make a booking, you must be at least 18 years old. We kindly ask that individuals under the age of 18 are accompanied by a legal guardian or parent when making any reservations. Thank you for your understanding.

Camping Food and DrinkFood and Drink is allowed in the camping area but is not allowed to be brought into the festival. Campers will have to go through security, including bag checks, to gain entry from the camping area to the festival arena.

Are there designated areas for my dog?There are no designated areas on the campsite or the festival but please be respectful of other family’s space and appreciate that they may not want other people’s dogs coming on to their pitch or personal space at the festival.

Should my dog be kept on a leadDogs must be kept on a lead at all times when walking through the festival at the campsite. We reserve the right to ask any owner to put and keep their dog on a lead if we feel it is necessary.

Dogs left unattendedDogs must not be left unattended in any vehicle of any description at any time. Failure to observe this polite request will result in the relevant authority being informed and you will be asked to leave the campsite/festival.
