  • Admission Policy
    We strongly encourage you to travel light, please do not to bring any bags larger than A4 size as there are no lockers on site. All bags will be searched upon entry. No food or drink will be allowed on-site (unless required for medical reasons) with the exception of baby food – we have everything else covered on-site. Cosmetic products and vape liquids are allowed at the discretion of the security staff but only in small containers. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal drugs. No glass allowed. We reserve the right to prohibit any items or goods within our site, including, but not limited to: Weapons Ammunition Explosives Horns and Loudhailers Drums Fireworks, flares Legal highs Laughing gas canisters and dispensers Medication Alcohol, food and drinks, glass (in any form) and cans Large luggage Shooting sticks Selfie sticks Animals Recording equipment Candles, lanterns High-vis clothing materials Liquid Megaphones, amplification equipment Any other items that security may deem hazardous.
  • Substance Policy
    Rhuddfest has a zero-tolerance drug policy, drug dogs may be in operation at the event and any contraband substances will be confiscated. Rhuddfest also reserve the right to eject anyone from the site who is under the influence of drugs should they deem it necessary. Rhuddfest is also an active member of the local pubwatch scheme.
  • Entry & Ticket Scanning
    Your ticket will be checked and scanned on arrival. If you have purchased e-tickets, we encourage you to preload your ticket in advance of entry to speed up entry to your apple wallet or google wallet. Screenshots of tickets are not valid proof of purchase. You will not gain entry with a screenshot. You may be asked to show proof of ID upon entry & for the purchase of alcohol. Please remember to bring a valid proof of ID with you. The only accepted forms of ID are valid and up-to-date passports, driving licenses, or home office-approved proof of age cards.
  • What age are children's tickets?
    Children 3 years old and under don't require a ticket. Children 15 years and under require a child ticket. Anyone 16 years and older require an adult ticket.
  • Sale of Alcohol
    We operate a challenge 25 policy across all our bars, We reserve the right to refuse anyone who is intoxicated.
  • Accessibility Facilities
    The event takes place on firm flat flooring, there will be friendly stewards, accessible toilets. The arena is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.
  • If i leave can i come back in?
    If you have to leave the event for what ever reason you will only be allowed back in if you get a steward to check you out when you leave, by doing this it will reactivate your ticket for re-entry.
  • Are Camping chairs & Gazebos allowed on site?
    We encourage you to bring a camping chair so you can relax and enjoy the festival. Gazebo’s are not allowed.
  • What happens if it rains?
    We are hoping the sun will be out however there will be several large tented areas for you to take shelter in should we be unfortunate enough to have a little rain. However, please check the forecast prior to coming to Rhuddfest and bring suitable clothing.
  • Are there toilets onsite?
    Toilets are available in the festival arena and also in the camping area. Toilets will be well signposted.
  • Bag Searches
    All bags, including cooler boxes, camping chairs, and rolled up blankets, will be searched by SIA registered security for unpermitted and concealed items.
  • FOOD & DRINK into the festival?
    Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the festival. Food & drink is not allowed to be brought into the festival with the exception of baby formula/milk and baby snacks. Empty drink containers can be re-filled with free drinking water from the bar areas. There will be lots of different food vendors proving a variety of street food. There will be catering for all food types. Glass containers are not allowed on the festival grounds.
  • I bought a ticket for Rhuddfest 2020 can I still use it for this years event?
    Tickets that were bought for Rhuddfest 2020 can be exchanged for a like for like ticket for this years event. Please contact us on for details on how to do this.

  • Do you allow dogs
    We absolutely love dogs and welcome well behaved pups and responsible owners to the festive. We have a few rules though so please our Dog FAQ's
  • What time can we arrive and what time do we have to leave site by?
    Friday Check in is from 15:00 and Check out is 10:00am on the Monday

  • Can we camp next to our friends?
    Yes! Please enter a group name in our comment box at the time of booking and we will be able to place you near to each other.
  • We want to make a group booking, how is best to do this?
    You have 2 options in regards to group bookings: One person books/pays on behalf of the entire group. Each family books and pays individually for their own pitch and writes your group name in the comment box at the time of booking. If you choose this option then it is important that you all book in to the same field as each other. Please note all of our bookings must be done online via our website.
  • What are the size of the pitches?
    A pitch is perfect for four people in one tent. If your party is larger than four, then up to 2 extra people can be added to that pitch/tent at the time of booking. A pitch can hold up to a maximum of 6 people in one tent. If your party is larger than 6 then the booking of another pitch is required.
  • What is the payment process for camping?
    Full payment will be taken at the time of booking. Your pitch/es will only be confirmed once this payment has been received. All payments are taken though our online booking system.
  • How do I book camping for the Festival?
    All of our bookings are taken online. Please click here to book your stay with us.
  • Can we have a BBQ on our Pitch
    BBQ's & Fires are not permitted
  • Can I request a specific pitch?
    If you have a favourite pitch/area then please feel free to leave a note in the comment box at the time of booking. We will always try to do our very best to make it happen but please know that we cannot guarantee that this will be possible.
  • Do you accept camper vans or caravans?
    We are a tent only site and are unfortunately unable to accept either camper vans or caravans.
  • Are there toilets & showers?

  • Can I put a pitch on hold?
    Unfortunately we cannot hold bookings for pitches. All bookings are done on a first come first served basis.

  • Can I Cancel my booking?

  • Is the campsite family friendly.
    Our whole festival is family friendly.
  • Do you allow music at the camp site?
    Of course how ever due to our licence no music is allowed after 23:00
  • Are there recycling bins on site?
    We absolutely love Festival and take pride in keeping it clean and tidy. We kindly ask that you take all of your rubbish and recycling home with you and your pitches must be left completely clear. To make this as easy as possible, we recommend that you try and leave and unnecessary packaging at home. However there will be some recycling facilities around the site
  • Are Lanterns & Fireworks permitted to be used on site?
    While we appreciate the enthusiasm for lanterns and fireworks, we regret to inform you that their use is not permitted on our site. We prioritise safety and environmental considerations for all our guests. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our policies.
  • What age do you have to be to make a booking.
    To make a booking, you must be at least 18 years old. We kindly ask that individuals under the age of 18 are accompanied by a legal guardian or parent when making any reservations. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Camping Food and Drink
    Food and Drink is allowed in the camping area but is not allowed to be brought into the festival. Campers will have to go through security, including bag checks, to gain entry from the camping area to the festival arena.
  • Are there designated areas for my dog?
    There are no designated areas on the campsite or the festival but please be respectful of other family’s space and appreciate that they may not want other people’s dogs coming on to their pitch or personal space at the festival.
  • Should my dog be kept on a lead
    Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when walking through the festival at the campsite if your dog cannot be kept under close control by yourself, then we advise that you put your dog on a lead. We reserve the right to ask any owner to put and keep their dog on a lead if we feel it is necessary.
  • Are there dog mess bins on site?
    Yes there is waste bins onsite and to keep our campsite and festival looking lovely and to make it pleasant for other people who visit, please clear up after your dog and dispose of the mess in one of our bins.
  • Noisy Dogs
    If you have a noisy dog that barks or whines a lot, please consider leaving it at home. We will have to respond to complaints of excess noise and in a worst-case scenario, you may be asked to remove your dog from the campsite/festival.
  • Dogs left unattended
    Dogs must not be left unattended in any vehicle of any description at any time. Failure to observe this polite request will result in the relevant authority being informed and you will be asked to leave the campsite/festival.
  • Dogs showing aggression/not being kept under control
    Any dog showing signs of aggression that is not under your close control will result in the owner being asked to remove it from the campsite/festival immediately – without exception. Dog owners accept responsibility and liability for any damage to property or persons injured by their dog
