Terms and Conditions
- Definitions and interpretation
“Event” means an entertainment event including, without limitation a concert, theatrical or music event to be held at a Venue in respect of which We have the right to sell You Tickets.
“Tickets” means tickets or other types of evidence (including electronic tickets) for an Event sold by Us to You for the right to occupy space at or to attend an Event.
“Venue” means any facilities or locations of nay nature where the Event is being held.
“We” means Stages for Events Ltd.
“Us” and “Our” shall be read accordingly.
“You” means you or anybody who in Our reasonable opinion is acting with your authority or permission. “Your” shall be read accordingly.
All Tickets are sold subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions should be read carefully prior to purchase and any queries should be raised with us prior to purchase, as purchase of Tickets constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. A valid Ticket must be produced to get into the Event Rhuddfest 2019. Removing any part of, altering or defacing the Ticket may invalidate Your Ticket.
It is Your responsibility to check Your Tickets, as if you have made a mistake it cannot always be rectified after purchase. Please contact us immediately if you spot a mistake.
We will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed.
To prevent the possibility of the original and duplicate tickets being used once your ticket has been checked into the Event you will not be able to renter without showing Your wristband and re-entry stamp.
Where a concession is claimed, proof of identity and concession entitlement may be required.
- Price and payment
The price of the Ticket shall be the price set at the time We accept Your order.
No order will be accepted until We have received full payment.
Your ticket is delivered to your email inbox. Please print the E-Ticket and have it ready to show at the gate for entry into Rhuddfest 2019. Alternatively the ticket may be shown via your smart phone. Please make sure you have your ticket ready to view at the gate. We advise customers to download the ticket to their phone before traveling to Rhuddfest 2019.
- Tickets purchased at the gate.
Customers purchasing Tickets at the gate will have a wristband and hand stamped. Sales at the gate are subject to availability.
- Changes to the Event
The organisers Rhuddfest Ltd reserves the right to make alterations to the published Event programme where reasonably necessary. Tickets are sold subject to our right to vary the published Event programme without notification which may result in changes to the performance line-up, playing times or any other aspect of the Event. Any published start times of a performance at the Event are estimates and subject to change. We shall not be liable for any change of a published start time or change to the artists scheduled to perform. No scheduled acts may be considered as headline acts regardless of their relative fame or prominence in the billing and so cancellation by an artist or performer will not entitle you to a refund. If the scheduled acts have to change Rhuddfest Ltd will make all reasonable efforts to schedule replacements of a similar caliber.
Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase unless the Event is cancelled or rescheduled.
The refund for Tickets equals the price you paid for your Ticket. Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the ticket.
These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Personal arrangement including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by You are at your own risk. Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of the Event will be limited to the refund set out in section 7.
Rhuddfest Ltd nor the Venue will be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of Your personal belongings, other than caused as a result our negligence or that of the venue or other breach of statutory duty.
- Cancelled/Rescheduled Event
It is Your responsibility to ascertain whether the Event has been cancelled or re-scheduled and the date and time of any re-scheduled Event. We will use Our reasonable endeavors to notify you using the details You provided us with at the time of ordering. And by posting on any social media accounts operated by us promoting Rhuddfest 20189 We do not guarantee that You will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the Event.
It is Your responsibility to inform Us of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address You provide Us with at the time of ordering.
- Age restrictions.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The responsible adult may be asked to show ID. If the responsible adult is aged between 18 and 21 the maximum number of children they may bring into the event is 4.
- Void Tickets
Any Ticket obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions shall be void and all, rights conferred or evidenced by such Tickets shall be void. Any person seeking to sue such a void Ticket in order to gain or provide entry to the Event may be considered to be a trespasser and may be liable to be ejected and liable to legal action.
Void Tickets are non-refundable.
- Conditions of Admission
The management of the Venue reserves the right to refuse Ticket holder’s admission to the Venue in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where the Ticket is void.
The management of the Venue also reserves the right to request that Ticket holders leave the Venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right.
For the purposes of safety, security and/or checking compliance with these Conditions, each Ticket Holder shall, if requested by any Authorised Person, co-operate and comply fully with the instructions and guidelines of such Authorised Person, (including by producing a valid Ticket and photographic proof of identity and proof of age ( driver’s license or passport).
By way of example, the Venue may remove a Ticket holder who:
1) Has behaved in a manner which in the reasonable opinion of the Venue has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or
2) Uses threatening, abusive or insulting words, or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or
3) In the reasonable opinion of the Venue is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or
4) Fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age.
You must comply with instructions and directions given by Event staff and stewards.
No refunds will be given to Ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples above.
13 Restrictions and prohibitions
No professional use of equipment for recording audio, visual or audio-visual without permission from Rhuddfest Ltd is strictly forbidden. Any recording or photography without the permission of Rhuddfest Ltd may be confiscated and destroyed. Any recordings made of the Event in breach of these conditions shall belong to Rhuddfest Ltd. The venue nor Stages for Events Ltd will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items.
By attending the Event, Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. These may be used to promote future Events. Rhuddfest Ltd may use such films, photographs and recording (including copies) with payment.
Ticket holders shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute at the Event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials.
Smoking is not permitted inside the bar or any inside or tented area.
The following are not permitted within the venue.
1) Animals with the exception of dogs. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
2) Laser pens
3)Your own drinks soft or alcoholic. With the acceptation of baby products. There will be a variety of drink outlets available at the event. Empty drinks bottles maybe brought in. Free tap water will be available.
4) Bottles, glass or cans.
5) Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects
6) Illegal substances.
7) Any glass including baby food jars.
Rhuddfest Ltd reserves the right to conduct security searches form time to time and confiscate any item which, in the reasonable opinion of the management of the Venue may cause danger or disruption to other member of the audience or the Event or is one of the items not permitted into the Event as listed above.
Tickets holders may only re-enter the event is they have their wristband on un-tampered and can show their re-entry hand stamp.
The obstruction of access-ways and exits is strictly forbidden.
- Health and Safety
Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the Event.
If Ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the Event, prior notice should be provided when ordering Tickets. Special effects may include, without limitation, sound, audio visual, pyrotechnic effects or lighting effects.
Warning – Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing. Please be aware that strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, lazers, smoke machines and other special effects may be used during the Event. We strongly recommend all minors wear ear defenders and all attendees take any precautions they deem necessary.
The camping field is located next to the main on-site car park. To enter the camping field you must be at least 18 years old. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 years of age please bring photographic ID. A valid passport or photographic drivers or provisional licence.
Those with a young person or child camping ticket can only enter the campsite with the adult who purchased their ticket, i.e parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian. Anyone young person or child attempting to enter the festival campsite without their adult will be denied entry to the campsite and will have to wait at the lost child point until their parent or guardian collects them.
If We delay or fail to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions it shall not mean that We have waived our right to do so.
We shall be entitled to assign any of Our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions provide that Your rights are not adversely affected.
If it is found by a Court that any of these Terms and Conditions for any reason cannot be enforced, this shall not prevent the other provisions from continuing to apply.
- Force Majeure
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond Our control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft or essential equipment, malicious damage, weather, third party injunction, national or local governments. We will not be liable to You for failure to perform any obligation under these Terns and conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure. This Clause does not affect he terms of Clause 7.
- Amendments and variations
We intend to rely on the written terms set out here in this document. You should read the terms and conditions carefully before entering into the contract to ensure that they contain everything that You consider has been agreed. If they do not then you should speak to any member of staff. After the contract has been made, these Terms and conditions cannot be varied or amended in any respect unless both You and WE agree and it is preferable that this in in writing.
